Being a Sea Cadet means being a part of a nationwide organization. With nearly 10,000 Sea Cadets across the country, Cadets often get the chance to meet and interact with Cadets from other units. NCBC Battalion Sea Cadets joined with their shipmates from NETC Division at Naval Station Newport for the annual Sea Cadet holiday party. Hosted by NETC Division on 9 December, 2006, the Cadets enjoyed an afternoon of partying and feasting, along with the staff of both units and invited guests from the Newport County Council of the U.S. Navy League. The always popular gift "exchange" game - Yankee Swap - caused no end of mirth for the participants.
