On 1 March 2003, NCBC Sea Cadets spent the day meeting the public at Warwick Mall, Rhode Island. When the Cadets stepped out to perform close order military drill, passersby were enthralled - applause and smiles were the rule of the day. The purpose of the outing was two-fold - letting the public see US Naval Sea Cadets "up close and personal," and also to promote Sea Cadet recruiting efforts.
