US Naval Sea Cadet Corps, Quonset Point, RI

Honoring Veterans at Extended Care Facility, 21 May, 2004

The NCBC Cadet Color Guard and unit Cadets trooped the colors and raised the flag to honor resident veterans at the South County Nursing and Subacute Center in North Kingstown. The occasion included the dedication of two benches to the veterans, and the whole affair was enthusiastically supported by the owner of the facility, a former Marine. The event was well covered by both print and television media.
