| NCBC Cadets, along with their shipmates from FALCON Division in Providence, partnered with the RI Air and Army National Guard activities at Quonset Point to support the Open House and Air Show event at the Quonset Air National Guard Base, Quonset Point, North Kingstown, Rhode Island. This annual event was headlined this year by the Thunderbirds, the United States Air Forces Flight Demonstration Team flying the Lockheed Martin F-16 Fighting Falcon. Other participants in the show included the U.S. Navy's "Leapfrogs" Parachute Demonstration Team, the Red Baron Pizza Squadron, Sean Tucker and the Oracle Challenger, the British Army's "Red Devils" Parachute Demonstration Team, Mike Goulian and his CAP 232, Mike Mancuso and the Klein Tools Extra 300L, Les Shockley and the fabulous Shockwave Jet Truck, Frank Ryder and the Oreck XL acrobatic plane, Dale Snodgrass Airshows, and the always thrilling Rhode Island National Guard's Combined Arms Demonstration. The Sea Cadets were assigned two primary tasks to support show operations - manning the Sponsors' Pavilion tents, and the manpower-intensive FOD (Foreign Object Debris) Walk at the end of each day. Senior Cadets were hired by show management to assist in setting up and breaking down the air show, three days prior to and one day after.
