Sea Cadet Recruit Training Graduation, Fort Devens, MA
| On a hazy and humid Wednesday morning on 29 July 2009, over one hundred Naval Sea Cadet recruits completed ten ambitious days of training at the U.S. Army Reserve training facility, Fort Devens, MA. These Sea Cadets, ranging in age from 13 to 17, were led by a staff that included senior Sea Cadets and adult leaders from several units in the northeast. This particular recruit training also ushered in a new training model, where the administration of recruit training was fully (and successfully) managed by senior Cadets.
