NCBC Sea Cadets ended their summer with an absolutely stunning day on the water and harborside, participating in the annual Wickford Harbour Festival in North Kingstown. Cadets provided a day of community service supporting this event, staffing the dock and managing shoreside operations for harbor tours aboard the motor launch GENERAL, operated by Brandaris Maritime. The Harbour Festival, sponsored by the Wickford Village Association, drew a very large crowd, and proceeds supported the NK Food Pantry, LINKS, the Mentoring program and local student scholarships offered through the North Kingstown Chamber of Commerce Charitable Foundation.
