FRA Branch 42 Annual Steak Fry and Picnic

|
| On 9 September, 2007, NCBC Sea Cadets provided assistance and support for our primary sponsor, the Fleet Reserve Association, Branch 42, during the FRA's annual picnic and award ceremony. NCBC Cadets provided invaluable talent and skill as they worked the grills and serving line, and the 120+ attendees at the picnic were very impressed with our young men and women. This event took place on the eve of the Sea Cadet birthday; it was on September 10, 1962 when the U.S. Congress federally incorporated the Naval Sea Cadet Corps under Public Law 87-655 (36 USC 1541). Branch 42 of the Fleet Reserve Association sponsored the creation of the NCBC Battalion of the Sea Cadets at Davisville in 1986, and have continued to do so without interruption for now more than twenty years. It's been a great relationship, and one that will continue for many years to come.
