Visit aboard R/V ENDEAVOR, University of Rhode Island
On 4 November, 2006, NCBC Cadets helped the faculty and crew celebrate the 30th anniversary of the oceanographic research vessel R/V ENDEAVOR. Our hosts for the day, the Graduate School of Oceanography and the School of Ocean Engineering at the University of Rhode Island, gave the Cadets a stem to stern tour of the vessel, which is berthed at the URI Narragansett Bay Campus only a few miles from our headquarters at Quonset Point. More on the R/V ENDEAVOR can be found on the web at http://techserv.gso.uri.edu/.
