Work Aboard the Sailing Yacht BRANDARIS


As the spring season gradually crept into New England, the senior Cadets of NCBC Battalion began work on the sailing yacht Brandaris, skippered by Captain Doug Somers and homeported in Wickford, RI. The Cadets gain invaluable experience in ship tackle, lines, fittings and equipment, putting a face to the nautical expression "learning the ropes."
