Signing up for the 1MC Message Center
- Go to http://www.riseacadets.org/training.html
- Click on the fourth bullet link, "USNSCC-1MC Main Page"
- That'll take you to the Yahoo! Groups page at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/USNSCC-1MC/
- Click on the button "Join This Group." If you haven't already set up your free account at Yahoo!, you'll be prompted to do so.
- Step 1. When you set up your contact info, you have the option to choose an email address you want 1MC messages to be sent to (you want to do this). Add your personal email address here - it doesn't have to be a Yahoo! address.
- Step 2. Message delivery - select the "Individual Email" option. You'll then get 1MC messages as soon as they are posted. You can ignore the Daily Digest option - there aren't enough 1MC announcement messages to make this worthwhile (a good thing).
- Save changes, and you're done.
